Coaching for engineers and founders building with AI.

Four years as CTO of a VC-backed AI startup. Bought agencies across several functions and watched every one run the same play. Now building an AI agent platform for go-to-market teams, mostly agent-written. I work 1:1 with people doing the same kind of hard thing.

02How it works

From first call to shipped, in four steps.

  1. 01

    Free 20-minute intro

We check fit. I'll tell you if I'm not the right person — that happens, and it costs you nothing to find out.

  2. 02

    Intake before session one

A short written brief: where you are, what you're stuck on, what a good outcome looks like. We don't spend a paid session on context.

  3. 03

    Working sessions

Screen shared, hands on the keyboard, real artifacts. Not a lecture — we work on your actual problem.

  4. 04

    Written recap, every time

Decisions, next steps, owner, and deadline. You leave with something you can act on when the call energy wears off.

03Pricing

Four ways to work together.

Flat rates, no retainer traps, cancel any month. Every package starts with the same free intro call.

04Who I am

Daniel Pao

I was CTO of a VC-backed AI startup for about four years — integration-heavy work, a small team, and every technical decision landing on my desk.

In that seat I bought agencies across recruiting, marketing, and a few other functions. Same failure every time: a retainer, an account manager, a junior doing the work, a monthly deck, and nobody accountable for the outcome.

So I left to build the replacement — an AI agent platform for go-to-market teams — where most of the code is written by agents inside a review pipeline I designed. Coaching is where I hand that hard-won detail to people solving the same problems.

Short version

  • ~4 years as CTO of a VC-backed AI startup
  • Bought and managed agencies across multiple functions
  • Now building an agent platform, mostly agent-written
  • Hired, promoted, and leveled engineers
  • Coaching engineers and founders 1:1

No pitch. We work out whether I can actually help, and I'll say so if I can't.
